Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Students Deserve to Be Celebrated! I work with an incredible group of students who show resilience, kindness, and a desire to succeed every day. They come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges, yet they continue to show up, work hard, and strive to be their best selves.

As a school counselor supporting school-wide PBIS, I want to ensure that my students' positive choices, improved attendance, and academic achievements are recognized in meaningful and exciting ways.

This project will provide a popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, and snow cone machine, along with all the necessary supplies, to create a fun, engaging, and memorable incentive system. These treats will serve as rewards for positive behavior, academic growth, and attendance improvement. Additionally, they will help us celebrate important milestones, such as 5th-grade and Kindergarten culmination, as well as school-wide PBIS events.

Goals for this Project:

- Motivate students to demonstrate positive behavior through engaging incentives.

- Encourage attendance by making school a place where students feel recognized and valued.

- Celebrate achievements and create lasting memories through fun, school-wide events.

My students are special because they inspire me every day with their perseverance, kindness, and enthusiasm for learning. They deserve to feel appreciated, and these resources will help bring joy, encouragement, and motivation to their school experience. Thank you for helping me make a difference!
