Our students are a diverse, curious, and ambitious group, eager to explore new learning experiences.

In our quest to provide practical, real-world learning opportunities, we recognize the importance of innovative teaching methods that go beyond traditional classroom boundaries.

My Project

We are excited to introduce a project that is as sweet as it is educational: acquiring a cotton candy machine for our school. This project is not just about making delicious treats; it's a dynamic educational tool that will provide our students with hands-on experiences in several key areas:

-Business and Entrepreneurship: Students will learn the ins and outs of running a small business, from cost analysis and pricing strategies to marketing and sales. Students will use the proceeds to help fund the school’s Student Government, which coordinates all school activities and student giveaways, like spirit-wear.

-Chemistry and Food Science: The process of making cotton candy is a fantastic demonstration of the science of sugar and the chemistry of cooking. Students will explore topics such as the crystalline structure of sugar, the effects of heat on different substances, and the physics behind the spinning of the cotton candy machine.

-Culinary Arts and Creativity: This project also taps into culinary skills and creativity. Students will experiment with flavors, colors, and presentation, learning about food as an art form.
