Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my 8th-grade science students for their curiosity, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning. They come from diverse backgrounds and face challenges but always bring their best to the classroom.

A tiny bit of sweet happiness can go a long way in encouraging pro-social conduct and academic effort, making learning more enjoyable and rewarding.

As students at a Title I school, they often face additional obstacles, but their drive to succeed and their passion for science inspire me every day. These rewards will help them feel recognized and appreciated, boosting their confidence and motivation.

The items I’m requesting—Jolly Rancher lollipops, Airheads, mini Twix, Snickers, Takis, and Razzles—will serve as small rewards to reinforce positive behavior and extra effort. Plus, this will encourage students to put on their thinking hats and do their best in learning challenging science concepts. These treats can make a big difference by incentivizing students to engage more deeply with the material and strive for their best.
