This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My 7th and 8th graders have sweatshirts from their 6th grade year and they love them. They got some shirts and gear, but these sweatshirts are a favorite. I want to get sweatshirts for my new 6th graders so this is part 1 of my project to get all my 6th graders a new sweatshirt to keep them warm. These can be used while students are at their sports practices and games as well. I see my kids wear these often around the school and these will be for my new incoming students. These sweatshirts keep them nice and warm when it gets chilly!
These school sweatshirts are warm, comfortable, and colorful, and they help spread school spirit.
The hygiene kits and deodorant help kids who need extras in and out of school. These will go in our care closet that our family liaison has available to all kids. These will go to kids in need of basic hygiene care. The leggings will also go to our care closet for our school. Our girls ask for them often.
My kids have had so many compliments on their spirit-wear as they wear them with pride. These sweatshirts are a staples of warmth and good hygiene and make kids feel like they are part of a team. They will want to express their individuality with a color they pick. I appreciate you visiting my project today, for my kids always appreciate the love they get.
