Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are from minority groups that have little or no exposure to the wonderful and innovative fields of fashion. However they are enthusiastic, driven, and eager to learn about various trades that can be life changing in their future.

The sewing machine and sewing supplies we are requesting will help us to engage students in meaningful discourse about sustainable fashion and amplify their voices by teaching them practical methods to recycle products and materials to create new, eco-friendly alternatives and creative clothing and accessory styles.

With you generous donation, the students can explore how to become environmental conscious and responsibility while being creativity and exploring the fashion industry and its possibilities.
