This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 10th-grade Art students from the Bronx are eager to make a positive change in their community by participating in a nationwide competition focusing on sustainability. Exploring different ways to work with recycled materials and repurposing items into wearable art to eliminate waste in our community and bring awareness to environmental issues and how we can have a positive impact.

My students are in need of dress forms to allow them a working space where they can properly and professionally prepare their garments.
