This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 9th graders will be starting a brand new school year with a schedule that gives them lunch last period. I want to make sure they are properly motivated and sustained by keeping these items handy and readily available for their consumption. Freshmen year is critical in establishing a foundation throughout the course of High school, and I hope to alleviate as many external stressors as possible by making my classroom feel welcoming. What better way to help break the ice than with some snacks?! Help me to create an environment where they can thrive!
