My Students

Wouldn't you get tired of hearing "It's not fair, why do they have that? I want one too!" Each student should have the same materials to use in class.

When they come to me in 4th grade my students still think like 3rd graders.

We are in an inner city school in Southern California. Not all of our parents can pick up the supply list and purchase everything they need to start the year. Simple things like having the same highlighters makes our year easier.

My Project

My students will learn how to write four paragraph essays with introductions and conclusions. Different colored highlighters help us teach them how to do this. Our reading notebooks help teach students organization and study skills. Of course, we need to have glue sticks to hold it all together.

These supplies will help our new 4th graders become independent learners ready to face any academic challenge.

Each having their own supplies, they'll be ready to produce amazing work in fourth grade, and for years to come.
