My Project

At our high school in Flushing, New York, we strive to create a supportive environment for all our students, particularly those from low socioeconomic backgrounds who may face significant challenges in accessing mental health resources. Many of our students struggle with anxiety, stress, and other mental health issues that can negatively impact their academic performance and overall well-being. This project aims to provide essential supplies to help our students manage their mental health and empower them to overcome these challenges.

To support our students, we are requesting the following supplies:

-Motivational Stickers: To inspire and uplift students daily.

- Journals: For students to express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

- Markers and Pens: To personalize their journals and engage in creative expression.

- Books on Mental Health: Including topics on overcoming anxiety, stress management, etc.

- Healthy Snacks: To provide nourishment and comfort, helping students stay focused and energized.

- Mindfulness and Relaxation Tools: Simple items like stress balls, calming coloring books, and breathing exercise cards to help students manage stress.

Your support will directly benefit our high school students, particularly those who may not have access to mental health resources at home. By providing these supplies, we aim to create a safe, supportive environment where students can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. This project will not only improve their mental health but also enhance their ability to succeed academically and in life.
