My Project

The materials requested will help support my middle school students who come from low-income households and diverse backgrounds. In addition to these struggles, my students have a variety of intellectual disabilities. These materials will help support their social and academic learning and it would mean the world to both myself and them if it were fulfilled!

Unfortunately, due to the lack of funding, our district continues to struggle to provide the bare necessities to our special needs children.

Our school is a place where the students are safe, loved, and most importantly educated. We are in a constant need of materials for our students, as they are scarce.

I became a speech therapist in order to help support my students socially, emotionally and academically. I hope to have a lasting impact on them as they enter higher education systems.

My Project

Help me give my special needs students basic school supplies, as well as specific speech therapy materials, in order to keep every speech session interesting, engaging and academically aligned with the core curriculum, as we are a standardized program.
