My Project

As a preschool educator, I am committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment that nurtures my students' social, emotional, and academic growth. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on young learners, interrupting their early education and affecting their ability to engage socially and emotionally. This project aims to provide resources that support my students’ social-emotional development, creativity, and language arts skills while addressing the challenges posed by interrupted learning. The requested items, including emotion flash cards, books on emotions, art supplies, and interactive language arts games, will help my students better understand and express their emotions, practice self-regulation, and develop essential literacy skills. Additionally, sensory tools, calming visuals, and social-emotional learning games will promote mindfulness and offer an outlet for emotional expression, helping students cope with anxiety and improve focus. Building blocks and educational toys will foster creativity and teamwork, helping children develop critical problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and fine motor coordination. These materials will help my preschoolers reconnect with their learning and peers while building the foundation for lifelong academic and social success. Your support will directly benefit the well-being and development of my students, providing them with the tools they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
