Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we have gained some time devoted to small group ELA instruction- I am constantly thinking of new ways to engage students in small group work that is targeted to meet their specific needs. This differentiation plan requires lots of resources. Some of these things include clipboards, mini whiteboards, markers, and word games.

Our goals are to begin to close noticeable learning gaps through targeted small instruction.

These centers include word play, vocabulary review, comprehension skills, grammar, and independent reading.

My students are hardworking, incredibly kind, and love to learn! They learn best in small groups. They love collaborative learning, group work, team reading, and working together. These resources will help ensure effective small groups.
