My Project

As a speech language pathologist in a Title I special education school, I work with students with a variety of different needs. Many of these students require assistance with communication, sensory needs, and motor skills.

My goal is to improve each student's experience in the speech room through sensory exploration and play.

Many students that I work with require different sensory experiences to engage in self regulation, joint attention, and joint play. I hope to be able to provide activities that match the needs of all my students, through the use of toys that include tactile, auditory, and visual inputs.
