This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 19 of the smartest, most creative Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students in the world. They love their school and their classroom. They are always excited to learn new things.

Writing in TK involves using pictures to tell stories.

The crayon sharpener will allow students to extend the fine tip of a crayon to give more control as they master their pincer grasp. The dry erase pens will be used for teaching letter formation and in directed drawing lessons. They are easier to erase and allow for stress free practice as students gain confidence in their emerging writing skills. The line maker will allow students to make a writing line on any paper. They love to make cards for each other at the Independent writing center. This line maker will be a welcome addition to this center.
