My Students
I get excited when I can transmit my passion and joy for learning to the students as I feel this is the most important part of my job: cultivating the love for learning in them.
Hi my name is Annamarie and I am a pre kindergarten teacher!
I love kids and with 15 years of experience as a teacher. I love teaching the little ones, they are so eager to learn and they are like little sponges taking in all the information.
I work in a Title I school, which means my students come from economically disadvantaged homes. My students are eager to learn, and I try my best to make school fun and interesting so that they learn to love coming to school and learning.
My Project
Playdough activities are a great way to help your child develop fine motor skills as well as bilateral coordination skills! There are many other benefits as well.
Manipulating playdough helps to strengthen hand muscles and develop control over the fingers.
Snipping playdough sausages helps develop scissor cutting skills. There are also specific activities that can also promote skilled use of the tripod fingers, which can help develop pencil control and better handwriting.
Playdough play can help develop coordination skills. Your child will use hand-eye coordination to cut, poke and prod the playdough and when using cookie cutters in the dough. We also need Trace and Write Alphabet Centers.
