Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to see increased student engagement and participation in lessons. By providing snacks and drinks, I hope to create a more positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and ready to learn. Ultimately, I want to see improved learning outcomes for my students. By addressing their nutritional needs, I believe they'll be better equipped to reach their full academic potential.

Snacks like Goldfish Crackers and Fruit Snacks will provide sustained energy, helping students stay focused throughout lessons.

Many of my students experience sensory sensitivities, and these individually wrapped snacks offer a consistent and predictable food option.

Water bottles will ensure students stay hydrated, which is crucial for concentration and cognitive function. Dehydration can lead to headaches and fatigue, making learning even more challenging. Having access to drinks will help them stay alert and engaged.

Some of my students have dietary restrictions or preferences. The variety of snacks I'm requesting will allow me to accommodate these needs and ensure everyone has something they can enjoy.

My students with special needs are incredibly resilient, creative, and full of potential. They bring unique perspectives and talents to our classroom, and I am constantly inspired by their determination and perseverance.
