This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

From preschoolers up to fifth graders we work hard to help our students make gains towards graduating from speech and language therapy. Student motivation is needed and with our new engaging culturally diverse materials and resources this will make it easier to keep our students working hard towards their goals. Thank you for helping us build up our culturally diverse books that reflect our rich, immigrant population.

Our school with its increasingly multicultural and multilingual students from diverse social and economic backgrounds have unique needs and your donation helps motivate and engage them in positive learning and in turn performing academically.

Social and emotional learning (SEL) provides a foundation for safe and positive learning, and enhances students' ability to succeed in school, careers, and life. These new books and resources address the social and emotional needs of our students, such as family stories that take place in their homeland and in their native tongue to help supplement their English emergence.
