My Project

Hi! My name is Leah Rampersaud, and I am the social worker at our school. Ever since we had an influx of migrant families, we have decided to open up a community closet that includes food, clothes, essential items, and supplies for those who could benefit from it. We have also been able to help our own families within our school building. We're excited to keep this growing and expanding, but we need your help! We are in need of supplies and organizational items.

Our goal is to make our community closet as warm and inviting as possible.

We want families to feel comfortable when taking items that they need. By asking for these items, we will be able to create a safe and welcoming environment. The bins, laundry basket, and labels will help us store items and keep everything nice, neat, and organized. Additionally, on hand, we will have maxi pads, paper plates, and paper towels as essentials for students and families in need. We want families to have a nice and inviting shopping experience.

Our school is in a very diverse community. We are of many colors and cultures. Together we try to help each other as much as possible. We are a tribe!
