Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My third-grade classroom is filled with multilingual students eager to learn new things. In our multilingual classroom, instruction is provided in two languages, English and Spanish. This project aims to provide handheld translators to entering and emerging multilingual learners. This additional tool would greatly support students’ language acquisition by helping them develop vocabulary, practice pronunciation, and follow academic instruction in the new language.

This technology will support a more inclusive learning environment, fostering greater academic success, social integration, and cultural understanding for individuals who may face challenges due to limited language proficiency.
