My Project

My students are resilient, driven, and come from diverse backgrounds, many facing significant challenges outside of school. What makes them special is their determination to succeed academically and emotionally, even in the face of adversity. In my role as both their counselor and college advisor, I see firsthand how stress and anxiety can impact their ability to focus and thrive.

The fidgets, stress balls, and games I’m requesting will create a calm, supportive environment where students can manage their stress and emotions, helping them stay focused and engaged in their work.

These resources will foster emotional regulation and mental well-being, allowing them to be more present during college advising sessions and in their academic pursuits.

The printer will be crucial for my students as they apply to colleges, scholarships, and internships, enabling them to print vital documents and meet deadlines with ease. My goal for this project is to create a space where students feel supported, emotionally and academically, and have the tools they need to reach their full potential.
