My Project

Providing snacks and supplies for a class for my high schoolers is crucial for decreasing their anxiety and supporting their education, especially since many of them come to class hungry and in need of class supplies. Hunger can significantly impact focus, mood, and overall performance, making it difficult for students to engage with the material or participate actively in discussions.

When they have access to healthy snacks and materials for class, it not only alleviates physical discomfort but also promotes better concentration and energy levels, allowing them to absorb information more effectively.

Offering these snacks and tools to calm themselves creates a welcoming environment where students feel cared for and supported, helping to foster a positive classroom atmosphere. By addressing their basic needs, we can empower them to concentrate on their studies and reduce the stress that comes with both hunger and academic pressures.
