This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a high school teacher, I see firsthand how unexpected challenges can disrupt a student's ability to focus on learning. Something as simple as needing a tissue, a bandage, or a period product can create unnecessary stress and embarrassment. I want to provide my students with a classroom stocked with essential health and hygiene supplies like tissues, masks, bandaids, and period products to ensure they feel cared for and ready to focus on their education.

Many of my students come from under-resourced communities, and I want my classroom to be a safe space where their needs—big or small—are met.

These items may seem minor, but they make a major difference in building a supportive and inclusive environment.

By contributing to this project, you’ll help me eliminate small but significant barriers to learning. Your generosity will ensure that my students can approach their day with dignity, comfort, and confidence. Thank you for being part of their success!
