My Project

My 5th graders are curious, energetic, and creative, bringing diverse perspectives and a natural empathy to our classroom. I love their resilience and eagerness to learn. This project aims to provide them with essential learning tools: fidget toys. Many students benefit from having something to do with their hands while learning, helping them focus, ease anxiety, and process information. These aren't just toys; they're vital for their success. I'm requesting a variety of quiet, hand-held fidgets like stress balls and tangle toys to cater to individual sensory preferences. These tools will directly impact learning by improving focus, reducing anxiety, supporting diverse learning styles, and promoting a positive environment.

My goal is to create a more inclusive and supportive classroom where all students thrive.

I want to equip them with the tools they need academically and emotionally. Specifically, I hope to increase engagement, improve focus, reduce disruptions, and foster calm. My students are special because of their unique blend of personalities, talents, and compassion. They're resilient, determined, and a constant inspiration. They deserve every opportunity to succeed, and these fidget tools will make a significant difference in their learning journey.
