Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are developing steadily in a new environment as kindergartners, but due to their levels of support needed to help them learn, a variety of materials are needed. They are exploring their senses while also looking for motivating toys and activities to help them learn and be given opportunities to communicate. The students need durable and engaging materials, such as wobble chairs and mirror blocks, to keep them motivated and engaged, due to their diagnosis of autism. We aren’t supplied much due to the low budget and have had to pay for a lot out of pocket.

Anything is helpful.
