I’ve discovered that my new students this year love hands-on activities to relate to the content they need to learn about and to connect to the mainstream classrooms. When coding and electronics are given as an option, I see them participate and fully immerse themselves in them. There are some huge fans of electronics and coding in our classroom. These materials will not only help create lifelong learners but can also be used as behaviorally insensitive to help with social-emotional learning.
