My Students

Can you imagine beginning a brand new school year without the proper supplies? I remember going shopping with my parents and being so excited to buy all of my school supplies! Most of my students will not even come to school with a pencil and paper, let alone markers or scissors.

My school is in a high-need, high-poverty area of New York.

This school benefits students from pre-kindergarten through the eighth grade. My school is 100% free lunch. With budget cuts across the board, classroom teachers are feeling the pinch. We need help. By helping my class, you are ensuring that my students don't miss a single thing because of where they live!

My Project

My classroom can benefit from ink, scissors, and markers. These supplies offer my students a chance to create gorgeous art to accompany their writing and other classroom work that we display around the room. Imagine their faces once they see their work, brightly colored or printed in color, hanging up in their class.

As the teacher, I love to see the pride in my students faces as the classroom transforms into "their room".

The brighter and more creative the project, the better. These supplies will definitely be used every day!
