This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
These books will help my students be able to study science through real-world color photography. This will help support the current lessons we are doing in the classroom. The students will be able to use these books to connect their classroom learning at home.
The students will learn about their five senses, compare living and nonliving things, as well as, explore animals and plants.
The students will also use these books to guide them through weekly science inquiry projects based on their learning for the week. We will work on small group projects such as comparison charts to summarize our learning.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
