My Project

This table will be a new addition to the Center for Learning and Writing within our early college setting. My goal is to make this space both inviting and inspiring in a way that will support students' social-emotional as well as academic growth. Within the center, students meet with peer tutors to get targeted support.

Students benefit dramatically from the use of whiteboards; this allows them to write out a math problem or map out their ideas for an essay.

Peer tutors and tutees alike can collaborate using this table, and create community in the process.
