Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our kids communicate via switches which require batteries. This is one of the main ways our students get to communicate with each others. The hand wipes would help us keep those switches clean as well. We are looking for items that will help to clean our room clean and help us teach with dignity and respect for our students. We have adjustable beds in our classroom for alternative seating and the bed rails would help keep our students safe while they are enjoying time out of their wheelchairs. Our classroom really needs large garbage cans with lids to help keep our classroom clean after providing total care for our students. This would allow for a more pleasant environment where they don't need to be embarrassed about needing assistance in the restroom.
