This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I oversee the Caring Closet for our school. I'm looking for donations that would help me organize clothes, food, hygiene products, school supplies, blankets, or anything donated by my community. I aim to create a space where students feel they are shopping at their favorite store. I want to achieve this goal by ensuring the space is equipped with shelves, racks, bins, and other infrastructure needed to store and display items in an organized manner. The goal is to help student meet their basic needs, so they can concentrate on learning instead of being distracted by external challenges
