This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Mari and I have the privilege of working as a College Adviser at Bell High School. My position aims to increase access to college for historically low-income students. Our students have been working tirelessly towards their dreams and deserve to be celebrated, which why we want to ensure that they have the chance to receive the materials they need to succeed.

College Decision Day is an event for students to be recognized for their accomplishments and celebrate their transition from high school to college.

Some of the items include a laptop, headphones, an air fryer, and many more. We understand that some of our students might not have the means to purchase some of the items, thus raffling them off can help us bridge the gap in equity.

If we are able to receive the funding, the items will be distributed during the day of the event. Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Any donation is very much appreciated by our students and staff.
