My Project

The Occupational and Physical Therapy department has been moved from our old space and we need to create a welcoming and safe place for our Nuerodivergent students.

By having a well-organized, distraction-free space that is consistent and neurodivergent friendly will help support my students self-regulate and learn strategies and tools to support their executive functioning and sensory differences.

I work with Autistic, ADHDers, and other Nuerodivergent students in a middle school and we need sensory supports and items to help organize materials and maintain a supportive and sensory-friendly space.

Curtains will help with covering shelves to reduce visual distractions, whilst items such as bumpy cushions, weighted lap pads, and fidgets will help support sensory needs.
