Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hey! Ms. Cohen here. I am a brand new middle school librarian in a Title I school in Queens. While this school had a library, they have not had a librarian since 2015. There are a lot of essentials we are missing! My goal is to have the students work in the library to give them a sense of community in the space.

I would like to have these carts to help our Library Squad, a team of students who will help with the upkeep of the library, move through the space with ease.

This will give them library and research skills as well as a sense of responsibility for their new library! I am excited to be able to update this library and get it ready for my students.
