This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested school supplies, including mindfulness tools, organizational resources, and calming materials, are essential for fostering students' mental health and overall well-being. By providing items such as stress-relief tools and flexible seating, we create an environment that encourages relaxation and focus, allowing students to manage anxiety effectively. Organizational tools, like planners and whiteboards, help students develop executive functioning skills, promoting a sense of control and achievement. Additionally, social-emotional learning materials support the development of empathy and resilience, equipping students with the skills to navigate their emotions and build positive relationships. Together, these resources contribute to a supportive and nurturing school environment that prioritizes mental health and well-being.
