My Project

Students with special needs sometimes have difficulty conveying their feelings, but through the arts, students have many ways to show their emotions. My students are high school-age students with moderate to severe special needs. I help the theater teacher with her musicals and many of our students come to school only to be in the musical.

In this musical students have a chance to express themselves and explore their mental health in many different ways, such as singing, dancing, art, and much more.

This school year we are going to be performing a musical in March of 2025.

Every student will be a part of this musical, no matter their disability. All students in this musical will be wearing the shirts, hats, and pants that are asking to be funded. They will also be using the props in the musical as well.

This musical is a wonderful chance for my students to learn about their feelings and express themselves in ways they usually don't have the chance to do anywhere else.
