Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will support my students with their mental health in the classroom. The fidget toys and stress balls will help them focus their energy when learning or relieve pressure when having conversations. The oil diffuser and sand garden are tools to help students concentrate and feel invited into a welcoming the space. The journals and pens will be used to help students jot down their thoughts. The conversation starters will allow students to build deeper relationships with each other.

Mental health not only supports my students in the math classroom, but, also during small group settings, like crew and mediations.
