Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the school site I work in, there are quite a few students who have unique struggles. We have a variety of struggles such as language barriers, socioeconomic, or at-home issues.

With this project, I want to provide students with a comfortable classroom where they can thrive mentally and emotionally.

These resources include more means of organization (shelves), resources for support ELL/newcomers, ink for our printer that we use for student projects, an Apple Pen to enhance technological learning, and letters that can be visible from the bulletin board across the room.

I believe that providing students with a classroom that is organized and aesthetically pleasing can help enhance their learning; I also believe these materials will help me assist and support our friends who are new from another country.
