This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating and snacks will create a more comfortable and supportive learning environment that fosters focus, engagement, and overall well-being. Flexible seating allows students to choose a workspace that best suits their learning style, helping them stay attentive and actively participate. Whether it's wobble stools, floor cushions, or standing desks, having options promotes movement and collaboration while reducing restlessness. Additionally, providing snacks ensures that students stay nourished and energized throughout the day, improving concentration and academic performance, especially for those who may not have consistent access to food at home.

The primary goal of this project is to create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn.

By incorporating flexible seating, we aim to enhance student engagement, independence, and collaboration. Providing snacks will help meet basic needs, ensuring that hunger does not become a barrier to learning. Ultimately, this project seeks to support students' academic success and well-being by fostering a space that promotes both physical and mental comfort.

My students are curious, resilient, and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives and strengths to the classroom. Many of them face challenges outside of school, yet they show up each day ready to grow and support one another. Their determination and enthusiasm inspire me to create a learning environment that nurtures their potential and helps them succeed. By providing flexible seating and snacks, we can further support their needs, ensuring they feel valued, comfortable, and ready to learn.
