Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Being in a Special Education Teacher in the inner-city, my students struggle with everyday life. All my students have a story and deal with issues kids shouldn't have to deal with. Still, they used come to school and try their best, which is what makes my students so special.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, my students are really struggling with getting the resources, materials and support for reading during remote learning.

My Project

During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, students are adapting to this major change of not being at school, not seeing their friends or teachers.

Students are not only struggling with the transition of this pandemic, their lack of resources, materials and support are also causing students to struggle academically; these materials will help support students who need more support in reading during remote learning.

These materials are needed to help support those students who are struggling in reading. The magnet letters will help myself support students with letter formation during live sessions. The magnetic white board will give students a visual and will allow me to manipulate words and objects during live sessions.
