My Project

In 2022, I removed the music chairs from my choir classroom and went to classroom stools. The chairs were sturdy, but the backs provided leverage and in my concrete permanent riser room, tipping and falling is a REAL concern. Students have gotten a good use out of the fundraising I spent, but the stools are flimsy and we have "retired" 13 of the original 30 stools. Stools also are a traditional children's choir seat due to the lack of backrest encouraging good posture, and they are easier to stack quickly for a change of setup within the rehearsal.

I purchased ONE science-lab metal stool this summer and it really shows us how much better it is!

Sturdy, quiet- all metal stools become drums- and coveted. I scoured the Internet and this is the best deal I can find for buying the high-quality stools in bulk. I personally have spent money to buy a set of 4.

So now we have five good stools and 23 flimsy ones.

I can't afford out of our regular budget to buy more stools as we need every dollar we raised this fall for music and field trips. I will never give up musical opportunities and high-quality, relevant music for our students. Please consider donating towards stools to literally "Support Our Singers" for years to come!
