My Students

"In this room, we don't do easy. We make easy happen through hard work and learning".

I teach a very special group of students math whom range in ages from 2nd grade-5th grade.

My students ages range just as vast as their disabilities and their strong amount of abilities in and out of the classroom. My students love to learn and are very excited to be at school; however, they need a lot of help and accommodations in order to be as successful as possible in the general education classroom. As a special educator, I push-in to most classrooms co-teaching with the general educator and/or working with small groups on specific skills.

My Project

The materials I'm requesting will be used when I push-in to 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms. When I walk around the school and help all of these students meet their personal and academic goals, I am always looking for ways to organize myself and the students. By using the caddy, file folders and clipboards, I'll be able to keep myself and the students organized and learning way after I leave their classroom. It is very important when I work in classrooms that I keep myself and the students on a specific time frame and so by having a timer that shows the students how much time is left, my students would be able to gauge their own progress and know when a specific activity was done.

Your donations will help my students with disabilities gain valuable educational resources and be able to be as successful as possible in and out of the classroom.
