My Project

School supplies are an essential part of any classroom and student learning. Thinking ahead to the new school year, I would like to support my students' everyday learning with new and fresh school supplies. Many students begin the school year with no school supplies and are unable to afford the basics that will ultimately help to set them up for success.

These supplies will help ease the burden on my students' families by helping to provide school supplies for our classroom.

Many families can not afford school supplies. It can be difficult for students who are not able to come to school with new supplies like their peers. I want all my students to start on an equal footing by providing basic school supplies that everyone needs in my classroom. I will be using these supplies, such as the 2 pocket colored folders to help students organize their materials by subject. Each color folder will represent a different subject making it easier for students to find their materials quickly and efficiently. Students will use the Expo markers to work within partnerships and small groups on white boards. The zippered pouches will be used to store art supplies and will be used to put together individual toolkits for each of my students so they have their own set of supplies they can use daily. I believe that providing my students with the necessary school supplies to be successful students is a great way to start their school experience.
