To support successful and highly engaging learning activities, I have requested a variety of important supplies to be used daily by my bright and motivated students. Throughout our days together, my students and I work collaboratively to nurture crucial academic skills in many ways with activities aimed to be fun and accessible to all. To encourage multi-sensory practice and joyful learning opportunities for my students, the requested items are used.
Each requested item was thoughtfully selected and can be used across subject areas to support a number of fun and hands-on learning activities.
For example, my students and I love to use drawing and writing to express our learning. To complete beautiful quality work, we use pencils, crayons and pens often. The triangular pencils and crayons requested are made for the hands of young writers and artists still learning how to hold these types of tools and use them successfully. The requested felt tip pens help students with publishing neat and bold pieces of both writing and art. I've also requested other important school supplies, such as pencil top erasers, whiteboard erasers, extra sets of crayons in colors that tend to run out quickly, and highlighters. To preserve students' work to withstand the test of time, I've requested sturdy cardstock paper and laminating pouches. Additionally, I requested a set of headphones to be used with our technology for students who may be in need of a pair. Each of the requested supplies, including those mentioned above, help my students produce the greatest quality artifacts of their thinking and learning possible.
