My Students

The theoretical physicist Stephen Hawkins once said, "science is not only a disciple of reason, but also, one of romance and passion." When I was in sixth grade, I found my passion for science because I was afforded the opportunity to learn from an incredible teacher and was given access to the tools and resources that piqued my curiosity of the natural world. I wish for my students to receive the same education I had.

My students deserve opportunities to observe, classify, measure, predict, infer, and communicate the happenings of our natural world.

Like most 11-12 year olds, my students are beginning to develop a taste their own interests. The students in my class are amazing, and I would like to ensure that they have access to some of the most wonderful tools and resources available. By funding this project, you are helping me expose my students to the marvels of science and allow them to follow their own curiosities.

My Project

As an amazing science teacher, I want to ensure that my students have access to supplies commonly used each day, whether used in classroom lab experiments or as a cooperative learning community project. These materials will ensure that every student that crosses the threshold of my science lab will have the materials required to meet the needs of each task.

I want my students to express themselves creatively in Science by having the essential supplies used within everyday hands-on labs and/or activities in class.

In this project, I am asking for various class set crayola products, sharpies, an abundance of glue sticks, as well as small and wall post-it note products.
