Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my class learn alongside one another, support one another and challenge one another. I am especially proud of the way they take on challenges and push themselves to learn. Although they have learning, language and social-emotional differences, they try their best to understand the general education curriculum and work hard to be independent thinkers and problem solvers.

The requested materials will give my students all the supplies they need for a successful school year.

The colored paper and gel pens will absolutely pique the interest of the writers in my class. I can envision them excitedly taking out all their “cool” materials and getting ready to write across pages. The colored pencils and crayons will allow my students to enhance their work. I must say that I have amazing artists in my class. Drawing provides them with a positive outlet to express themselves. The beautiful writing journals will provide an outlet for my students to express their emotions, set goals and capture memorable moments.

Every student deserves the supplies they need for learning. Please support this project!
