This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year teachers spend a huge chunk to ensure that students have the basic supplies that they need. Every few months, we restock and by the end of the year there is nothing left. But that doesn't stop us from making sure they have the things they need.
Please help me give my students supplies they need so they can focus on learning instead of things they don't have.
The walls in my room is all brick so I don't have any space to write directions. A dry erase board will allow me to write directions in a space that students can refer back to during the lesson. For my younger students that are now beginning to learn parts of the computer, hands on cut and paste activities will help reinforce skills and vocabulary. Scissors and glue for the 70 kindergarteners I see would be extremely vital. I see over 600 students a week and many students use cards to help them remember their information. The shoe stand I requested would be a great space to store all the classes' cards so students know exactly where to go to get their information in an organized way.
Your donation for this project would help me as well by being able to buy other things that my students need such as headphones and more technology devices.
