My Project

I teach the gifted at a beautiful school in Miami, Florida. My current classroom walls and cupboards are bare and I need math and science educational posters to use as guidelines for my students while bringing the walls to stimulating and colorful life at the same time, and also school supplies that would last the school year.

The goal is that my students learn, explore and understand the core math and science concepts covered in our curriculum.

Besides posters, I am also requesting the replenishment of basic stationery and supplies such as headphones, pencils, staplers, scissors, tote boxes, pens, a pencil dispenser, highlighters, folders, posters, and push-pin wooden clips.

The headphones will be used by students when they are working independently on their devices. The pencils and pencil dispenser are needed as my students run out of pencils almost every day and we need the dispenser to store and organize these pencils. The staplers are needed to staple handouts together. The scissors will be used for cut-outs in science and various projects. The tote boxes are to keep students' files organized. The wooden clips will also keep my students' papers secured and organized in our classroom. The highlighters will be used during note-taking activities.

My students will use the science and math posters for easy reference in the classroom and also when note-taking in their math and science journals.

My students will also use these science posters to engage in science experiments in real-time/physically, during science.
