My Students

I am an educational assistant in a Pre-K classroom in an inner-city school in Harlem. My school has several Pre-K classes. Every year we are introduced to bright, caring, and curious explorers.

Our students need to be equipped with supplies and resources at every level.

Every year they come to us with limited experiences and our goal is to expose them to as much as academically possible. I am confident that with the right tools, we will give them the best school year possible.

My Project

My classroom is in need of a way to better organize our classroom materials and supplies.We have been so fortunate to have some math, science and art supplies funded through DonorsChoose.

Did you know that organization uses both math and literacy skills?

New bins and a label maker would help us to have our classroom super organized at the start and end of each day. We label everything in Pre-k so a label maker would make the start of each year so much easier.

We look forward to having a neat and tidy classroom (except during play, of course)!
