This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The transition of most teaching and learning from face to face to online during the pandemic has increased the use of computer and eye strain for most of my students in my Economics classes. Being overly dependent on online research tools has almost eliminated the use of books. I want to instill in them and let them appreciate the variety of research tool materials which include the books.

At the moment, my three classes in Economics consisting of 70 students use only one reference book which I reproduced through photocopying or retyping on a word processor and print it out for individual handout copy.

Having multiple reference books will save up too much of our precious resources such as copy paper, ink toner, time and energy.

I hope you can help my 70 Economics students to have multiple references so that our learning will be even more meaningful, rich and fun.
