My Students

My students are made up of a diverse group of children with diverse economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds. I have many students who speak a second language at home such as Spanish, Armenian, Russian or an Asian language.

My students come from all walks of life, but they deserve an equal opportunity to have resources available to them for their education.

My school is a close-knit community with strong parent support, dedicated teachers, and has the child's interest in mind.

My Project

Something as simple as every day copying paper is something that teachers rely upon to help them teach a lesson! Schools can budget for it, but schools like my own, that are high performing but about 50% low income will receive less funding just because we're managing to do well! So while we budget for school supplies such as paper, our teachers are often struggling to make it last throughout the year.

Help me fund my project and I will share this copying paper with my entire school.

Copying paper is needed for our math program because we opt not to use our district provided books for our main math lessons. We find other programs to be more effective but they require more copying. This doesn't just stop with math, teachers all supplement our other subject areas of language, science, socials studies, etc. with lessons on copying paper. Please, help us to help our students!
